A veteran WWE superstar looks like he’s in incredible shape as he prepares for a return to the ring.

Chad Gable is a veteran WWE superstar who had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff injury.

At the time of his injury, Gable was regularly wrestling as El Grande Americano, while the joke was that he would constantly deny he was actually Americano.

During his 12-year WWE career, Gable is a former 3-time WWE Tag Team Champion who has come close to winning a major singles title on the main roster, but it hasn’t happened yet. Gable held the “coveted” Speed Championship prior to getting injured in June.

The latest update on Chad Gable’s return to WWE television was that he could be ready to make his big comeback as soon as this Monday’s Raw on January 5th in Brooklyn.

While posting on social media, Gable showed that he has been putting in the work ahead of his WWE return, and he looks as muscular as ever.

Kurt Angle Believes In WWE’s Chad Gable

Throughout his WWE career, Chad Gable has been called “underrated” by fans because they feel like he deserves more in WWE, yet he never seems to get the kind of push that he has earned.

Gable has been compared to WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle throughout his career because Gable is an Olympian like Angle was, but Gable was not a gold medalist like Angle. Still, Gable is on the smaller side like Angle. In Angle’s opinion, Chad Gable is somebody who could be a main eventer in WWE.

“I think he’s great. I’m just happy he was able to find his niche, I know it’s kind of identical to mine, but if it works for him I’m happy for him. I think regardless of if he did my character or anyone else’s, I think the kid’s incredibly talented, so he would have succeeded either way.

You know the problem with him, I think it’s only because the office looks at him like this but he’s a little undersized, but that’s not an excuse Chris Benoit was 5′ 9″, Eddie Guerrero was 5′ 8″, Rey Mysterio’s 5′ 5″, so someone like Chad can be a main eventer.”

Since Gable has been sidelined, his American Alpha teammates, The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile, have been used sparingly on Raw, so perhaps Gable’s return will see the three of them utilized more as well.
