WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is ready to disappear into the night as he reveals when he’ll bring the curtain down on his career altogether.

In June 1998, Mick Foley wrote his place in wrestling history when he was launched from the top of the Hell In A Cell by The Undertaker, as many fans thought the same as Jim Ross, who on commentary exclaimed, “They’ve killed him!”

Foley ended up going through the top of the cell after that, and the famous footage of him lying in the corner of the ring with a tooth coming out of his nose won him a whole new legion of fans.

Mick Foley Planning 30-Year Anniversary Tour

Speaking on D-Von Dudley’s YouTube channel, Mick Foley explained why he never had his teeth fixed after that night, as it served as a reminder of it. Foley also explained when he might get the dental work done, as he plans to bring the curtain down on his public persona:

The only reason I don’t fix the teeth now is they are a reminder of that night. I love being here in your gym and seeing all the mementos around me. I love houses where guys have other stuff, but I don’t really have a wrestling house. What I do have is my smile.

I thought now that I’m 60, maybe I’ll fix it. I might wait until I’m 63. 30 years of Hell. I’m going to go back out on the road again for one final tour in 2028 for the 30 Years of Hell Tour, and the idea is to hang it up completely, fix my teeth, maybe start wearing nice clothes so no one knows who I am, and just disappear into the night.
