WWE Planning Huge Rhea Ripley Match For WrestleMania 41

A new report suggests that Rhea Ripley’s WrestleMania 41 opponent could be one of the top female superstars in WWE.

During her WWE career, the current Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has faced and defeated some of the greatest all-time female superstars in WWE history at WrestleMania.

The WrestleMania 39 match in Los Angeles between Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair was praised heavily as one of the best women’s matches in WWE history. Ripley left that match as the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

At WrestleMania 40, Rhea Ripley beat Becky Lynch in a highly anticipated match to retain the Women’s World Title. Since then, Ripley has lost and won back the Women’s World Title while the top females in the company will do their best to come after the dominant champion.

Rhea Ripley May Face Bianca Belair At WrestleMania 41

It has been reported by Fightful Select that the very popular Ripley could be facing another popular superstar, Bianca Belair, at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas on April 19 & 20. While Ripley and Belair have faced off before going back to their NXT days, they haven’t had a singles match at WrestleMania together. Both women have also expressed an interest in having that match.

According to Fightful’s report, Ripley facing Belair has been discussed for WrestleMania 41. While there have been teases of a big match between them, they have been largely kept apart while doing other things. Ripley regained the Women’s World Title from Liv Morgan on the January 6th episode of Raw while Belair has continued her reign as a Women’s Tag Team Champion.

There was going to be a Ripley-Belair match at Money in the Bank 2022 when Belair was the Women’s Champion, but Ripley was injured and pulled from the match. Carmella replaced Ripley in that match, so Belair’s match with Ripley didn’t happen.

If Ripley holds onto the Women’s World Title until WrestleMania 41 then that means Belair would have to earn her shot by winning either the Royal Rumble on February 1st or the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on March 1st.

Rhea Ripley will defend the Women’s World Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25th when she faces Nia Jax in a rematch of a matchup that headlined Elimination Chamber 2024 in Australia.

Fightful added that these are just tentative plans and that nothing is official yet because plans can change. WrestleMania 41 is nearly three months away.
