WWE Hall Of Famer’s Wife Shuts Down Comeback Talk

A WWE Hall of Famer’s wife has made it very clear they aren’t getting back in the ring after a hilarious moment at John Cena’s final match.

On December 13th, 2025, John Cena competed in the final match of his legendary career when he faced Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Ring General had vowed to make Cena tap out in the lead-up to their encounter, but few fans actually thought that possible.

But that’s exactly what happened when Cena tried time and time again to fight out of Gunther’s sleeper hold. Cena, resigned to his fate, put a smile on his face and gingerly tapped out, bringing his career to an end.

Fans in Washington, D.C., who had paid a fortune to be in the building to give Cena the send-off he deserved made their feelings very clear as they showered Triple H with “You f*cked up” chants.”

Kurt Angle’s Wife Rules Out WWE Comeback

Before John Cena got in the ring on the night, however, he greeted some current and former WWE stars who were at ringside to witness history firsthand. It was only fitting that Cena’s first-ever WWE opponent, Kurt Angle, was in attendance. But it seemed the Olympic gold medallist might have got a taste to remind the world of his 3 I’s once again.

A photo of Angle looking towards Cena with a trademark intense glare went viral on social media after Angle’s own wife reminded him that he was now retired and better not think about breaking out the singlet one more time:

Kurt Angle brought the curtain down on his own in-ring career at WrestleMania 35, in almost as unsatisfying a way as Cena’s career ended. The WWE Hall of Famer lost in his final bout to Baron Corbin.
