WWE Hall Of Famer’s Son Makes AEW Debut
A second-generation talent is following in his WWE Hall of Fame father’s footsteps as they step in the ring in AEW.
WWE Hall of Famer Sting brought an end to his legendary career at AEW Revolution in March 2024. The Icon teamed with Darby Allin to defeat The Young Bucks and retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship. That meant Sting also went undefeated during his three memorable years in Tony Khan’s company.
Sting’s entrance for that bout saw his two sons don his old gear as the different eras of his career were celebrated, and it seems the wrestling bug well and truly bit one of them.
Steven Borden made his wrestling debut in a tag team match as part of an art exhibition, part curated by Darby Allin. Now at DEFY Wrestling AEON 2, Borden competed in his first-ever singles match, where he defeated Kiran Grey. The fans were so enamoured by Borden’s efforts that they chanted “Please come back” after the bout.
Steven Borden Undefeated In AEW Just Like His Dad
Following in his legendary father’s footsteps, Borden has now made his debut in an AEW ring.
Before Dynamite Winter Is Coming in Atlanta, Georgia, went live, Steven Borden was in action in a dark match where he once again went one-on-one with Kiran Grey, with Borden again picking up the victory. Grey is also a student of Darby Allin and has also competed in a dark match for Tony Khan’s Ring of Honor.
