WWE Hall of Famer Sting’s son recently made his wrestling debut.

Sting enjoyed a legendary wrestling career that spanned over four decades and multiple major promotions. He started making a name for himself in the mid-1980s, competing first for the NWA’s Jim Crockett Promotions, Universal Wrestling Federation (UWF), and Championship Wrestling from Florida (CWF).

By 1987, Sting became a key figure in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where his memorable feuds, especially with the nWo, and his vigilante face paint turned him into a fan favorite. WCW was the backdrop for some of his most iconic matches, including his world title win over Hollywood Hogan at Starrcade in 1997.

After WCW’s collapse, Sting continued his journey in TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling) from 2003 to 2014, where he helped boost the promotion’s status, earning multiple titles and engaging in compelling rivalries.

In 2014, Sting finally arrived in WWE, fulfilling a long-time dream of countless wrestling fans. In WWE, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016 and participated in matches against high-profile superstars, although his time there was cut short by a serious neck injury.

After a brief retirement, Sting shocked the wrestling world by joining AEW in December 2020. There, he revitalized his career, teaming mainly with Darby Allin, and experienced an undefeated run in 28 matches. Ultimately, Sting retired at AEW Revolution in March 2024, ending his career as one of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, forever cementing his legacy as a true legend of the sport.

Now in retirement, Sting’s legacy continues through his son, Steven Borden, who has recently embarked on his own wrestling journey. Inspired by his father, Steven began training one year ago under the guidance of Darby Allin, Sting’s former tag partner.

Steven made his professional wrestling debut on October 3, 2025, at 52W HARDWAY in New York City. Teaming with JD Drake, he faced Darby Allin and Killer Kross but unfortunately lost his first official match. Despite the loss, Steven’s performance sparked positive attention, with fans drawing parallels to the early days of Sting’s career.
