WWE Hall Of Famers Heading To NXT/TNA Showdown

A pair of WWE Hall of Famers is planning on making their presence felt at NXT’s upcoming Showdown with TNA.

After several TNA stars went public about their unhappiness with WWE, a fight was inevitable. It took a week before that took place, as TNA invaded NXT after the winner-take-all double title match between Trick Williams and Oba Femi ended in disqualification.

WWE had planned an invasion show, but were forced to drop that name in favour of a Showdown. Two Survivor Series-style tag team matches will take place, pitting NXT teams against their TNA counterparts.

Bizarrely, TNA’s women’s team will be captained by an NXT star as Kelani Jordan joins The IInspiration and Mara Sade to face NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, Lola Vice, Jaida Parker, and Sol Ruca.

The men’s match pits TNA World Champion Trick Williams, NXT Champion Ricky Saints, Je’Von Evans, and Myles Borne against Mike Santana, Frankie Kazarian, Moose, and Leon Slater.

The show will also see Mustafa Ali claim an NXT North American Title shot against Ethan Page and TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys facing NXT Tag Team Champions DarkState in a winner-take-all match.

WWE Hall Of Famers Keeping A Close Eye On The Hardys

Now WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has taken to social media to reveal that he and D-Von will be at the show, getting an up close look at The Hardys in action.

The Hardys and Team 3D are set to clash in a tables match at Bound For Glory for the TNA Tag Team Championship. Perhaps Team 3D will be on hand to ensure that Matt and Jeff Hardy walk away with that title so they can still get one last shot at it.
