WWE Hall of Famers The Bellas were backstage at AEW Revolution as Brie Bella’s husband Bryan Danielson went to war with MJF in the main event for the AEW World Championship.

In the night’s main event, MJF defended his AEW World Title against Bryan Danielson in an epic sixty-minute Iron Man match. With the score tied at three falls each, the time expired with the champion trapped in a single-legged Boston Crab meaning the bout ended in a draw.

Tony Schiavone received instructions from Tony Khan on his headset, heading to the ring to tell the referee and ring announcer that the match would continue. With the help of an oxygen tank, MJF nailed Danielson before making the challenger tap out to his own LeBell Lock to retain his championship.

It was Saraya – who has found a new ally in Ruby Soho after Revolution – that took to social media to share that Brie and Nikki Bella were backstage at the show.

The Bella twins recently expressed their displeasure at what they felt as WWE’s lack of acknowledgment of the “women’s revolution” era in the company on the recent 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw, something they put down to the company not wanting to feature footage of Saraya or Sasha Banks.
