WWE Hall Of Famer Weighs In About Seth Rollins’ Injury Angle After Crown Jewel
Seth Rollins’ injury angle has everyone wondering whether this is work or shoot. No one knows what to think!
Earlier this year, The Visionary faked a knee injury and then pulled off the ‘Ruse of the Century’ by cashing-in the Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam 2025. Since only Triple H, Becky Lynch, and Paul Heyman knew about it, others backstage felt conflicted by the withheld information.
At Crown Jewel, Rollins supposedly suffered a shoulder injury, which led to WWE pivoting from the original plans for The Vision and instead having Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turn on the World Heavyweight Champion on Monday Night RAW.
Bully Ray questions why Seth Rollins would put himself in harm’s way
On WWE RAW, The Dog brutally speared The Visionary. It shocked everyone. Even Paul Heyman was absolutely taken aback by it, hinting that he did not know about it.
While it seems that The Vision members turned on Rollins so he could be written off WWE TV owing to the shoulder injury sustained at Crown Jewel, no one knows if the injury angle is genuine.
On Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray questioned why The Visionary would put himself in harm’s way with a legit spear, especially since The Dog’s force is rather lethal.
However, he did acknowledge that Rollins would take an actual spear if it meant that his next plan would work flawlessly.
Everything that you just said about the looks that Bron Breakker was giving to Seth Rollins before the injury, it’s like they’re planting the seeds of dissension, then we’ll make it look like he’s injured. Then he does the spear, but that’s a legit spear. Why would Seth Rollins take the legit spear from Bron Breakker? Why would you put yourself in harm’s way like that? The same way you put yourself in harm’s way by taking LA Knight’s finish.”
Seth faked his leg injury, didn’t he? And he put himself in harm’s way by taking LA Knight’s finish,” he continued. “Could he be faking his arm injury and put himself in harm’s way by taking Bron’s just to make it all look good? [h/t: WrestlingInc]
WWE is yet to officially confirm how the story moves forward. However, the global juggernaut has pulled Rollins from the Japan Tour on October 17th and 18th, 2025.
