WWE Hall Of Famer “Was Always Vince’s Girl”

Vince McMahon WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Madusa – better known in WWE as Alundra Blayze – has a special place in wrestling history but not one that stopped her from making amends with Vince McMahon.

In the early nineties, WWE relaunched its women’s division with Alundra Blayze at the very heart of it. Blayze captured the WWE Women’s Championship three times during her run with the company but by the end of 1995, things looked bleak for the women’s division.

To add insult to injury, Blayze turned up in WCW with her WWE Women’s Title and famously dropped it in the trash on Nitro. As Madusa once again she remained with WCW until almost the end of that company’s run, apparently leaving when she heard Vince McMahon was about to buy it.

Speaking to Just Alyx, Madusa discussed her relationship with Vince McMahon and, despite the rumours about her time at the end of WCW, says that he always treated her well:

“I’ve always been Vince’s girl. I was a company girl. I was one of the ones that were always on time, never did drugs … you know what I mean? So I was that girl. Vince always treated me well. Despite what people say, he was always good to me. Well … except for the fact that he killed the division and got rid of me.”

Madusa was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015 and featured as recently as the 30th anniversary edition of Raw on television.
