WWE Hall Of Famer Wants Karrion Kross In TNA

Karrion Kross WWE Stare

Karrion Kross is a man in demand.

After weeks and months of speculation, Karrion Kross and Scarlett finally left WWE on August 10 after their contracts expired. However, given WWE’s recent penchant for being economical with the truth, some have suggested that the departures are part of a bigger storyline.

Karrion Kross later revealed that only he had been offered a new contract, but it was taken off the table just 24 hours later. Talks regarding Scarlett’s contract were slated to begin after a deal with Kross had been reached.

Following “We want Kross” chants during the August 15 edition of SmackDown, the star acknowledged the support on social media. He’s repeatedly stated that he wants to return to WWE.

Karrion Kross To TNA?

Speaking on a recent episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff gave his thoughts on the speculation and confusion around Kross. Bischoff began by saying that he’s got a lot of respect for the star and that he’s disappointed he’s no longer with WWE.

“I’ve always liked Karrion Kross as a performer, as a talent, and I also like him as a person. We’ve gotten to know each other just a little bit, not close, but a ton of respect for him in a lot of ways… I’m disappointed. I’m disappointed for Karrion. Obviously, I am for the wrestling fans who obviously had an appetite and wanted to see more of Karrion.”

Bischoff added that his only advice to Kross would be to keep any comments about contract negotiations behind closed doors.

“I get a little uncomfortable when I see talent, I don’t want to say burning bridges, but when you start talking about contract negotiations publicly. It doesn’t really serve you all that well… If I was Karrion’s agent, I would just advise him to keep his conversations about his contract negotiations to himself, and go out and continue to prove why WWE made a mistake, because sometimes they do.

We’ve seen it in the past, haven’t we? And I think if Karrion, it just does the right thing and keeps being Karrion Kross and stays committed, stays focused, and goes out and makes some noise outside of WWE, he’ll be back.”

The WWE Hall of Famer then suggested that Kross shold look at going to TNA as there’s some momentum growing behind the promotion.

“I hope he ends up in TNA. TNA has got some sh*t going on. They’re making good moves. Their audience is growing. I said it here a month or two ago. They’re one major TV deal away from being the number two wrestling promotion in the country, in the world, for that matter… If I had to bet money, I’d bet we see him in TNA first.”

With regard to TNA, it was recently reported that WWE has a influence over its media rights negotiations, and is working to make the promotion the number two company in North America. Furthermore, WWE is believed to have a clause which allows them to purchase TNA “within a certain length of time.”
