WWE Hall Of Famer “Waiting On A Call” For In-Ring Return

A WWE Hall of Famer could make a comeback.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event in July, Goldberg will get back in the ring one more time, but he isn’t the only WWE Hall of Famer looking for a swansong.

Given Nikki Bella’s recent WWE appearances, many fans are expecting her sister Brie to make her own comeback. Furthermore, it seems the star is more than ready to get back in the ring.

During an appearance at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, Brie was asked by NEWS4SANANTONIO whether she’d ever return to WWE.

“I mean, I would love to return. But I’m kind of waiting for that call still. Nikki got the call. Brie didn’t. So, you know, I didn’t change my number. If you guys wanted to know. All we need is a phone call and that can happen.”

Report Claimed Talks Between WWE And Brie Bella

Despite the star keeping her cards close to her chest, it was reported in early June that Brie Bella was in talks with WWE regarding a comeback. This led to suggestions that Brie would team with her sister Nikki at Evolution 2 on July 13.

However, that plan now might be off the table.

On June 9, Nikki appeared on Raw, where she was confronted by Liv Morgan, seemingly setting up a storyline between the pair. But a week later, Morgan suffered a serious shoulder injury, and it’s been reported she will be out of action for around six months.

Following the show, it was reported that Nikki Bella had been scheduled to confront Morgan after her match with Kairi Sane. But with the match called off, the appearance was scrapped.
