WWE Hall Of Famer To Make In-Ring Return

WWE Hall Of Famer Responds To Accusations That They Politicked Their Way To World Title

A WWE Hall of Famer is preparing to get back in the ring.

Back in February 2023 Booker T claimed he was retired after his appearance in the 2023 Royal Rumble — even if those comments did come with a sizeable caveat. The veteran said fans wouldn’t see him at “that level” again, seemingly leaving the door open for appearances at smaller shows, and his own Reality of Wrestling promotion.

In July 2024, the star offered something of a clarification, pledging to never retire, and it seems he’s prepared to make good on that promise.

“Well, I’m never gonna retire. I’m definitely gonna get back in the ring at some point in time to do something. But it’s gonna be here, in Reality of Wrestling, or in Saudi [laughs].”

Booker T To Make Return Against Former WWE Star

During a Reality of Wrestling event on December 29th, Zilla Fatu confronted Booker and challenged him to a match. After asking the crowd if they wanted to see the pair go at it, the veteran agreed with the match set for January 11th.

Fatu is the son of late WWE star Umaga who found fame with the sports entertainment giant in the 2000s prior to his untimely death in December 2009.

Back in October, Zilla Fatu claimed he was “destined” to join WWE while paying tribute to Triple H and the company’s creative team. Meanwhile, in August, it was reported that WWE “has their eyes on him” as he continues to progress.
