WWE Hall Of Famer Wants Sting vs. Ric Flair One Last Time

Sting Ric Flair

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T thinks AEW could be on to a winner if Tony Khan books the last-ever match between Sting and Ric Flair.

Sting announced the end of his career will come at Revolution 2024 as he looks to bring the curtain down on his legendary career.

Announced as a gift to Sting, Ric Flair was introduced to AEW and noted that he’d be walking the last mile of Sting’s career side-by-side with his old rival. Now Sting and Flair are back in the same company, one WWE Hall of Famer thinks one final match between the two men who competed in the final match of WCW could be gold for AEW.

Booker T Wants Sting & Ric Flair One Last Time

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast Booker T says he thinks Sting going one-on-one with Ric Flair in his final match could be the perfect send-off for both wrestling legends:

“You know what? I think that might be the perfect send-off. Let’s do it. I mean, Ric Flair, Sting, you know one for old time sake. Let’s go out there and do it just one last time. Let’s walk that aisle one last time. Let’s style and profile, woo, one more time. Limousine riding, jet flying, woo, son of a gun.

“If that was to happen, just like Ric Flair’s last match, I think it had eight or nine thousand people that showed up. If Ric Flair and Sting stepped in the ring one more time, they may have 20,000 people. 20,000 might want to come out and witness that spectacle just one more time. Just one more time Ric Flair makes that walk down the aisle, just one more time with the Stinger, one more time, not just the Crow Sting. I think if you’re gonna do it, he got to go back to the old Sting (surfer Sting).”

So far it remains unknown what Tony Khan’s plans are for Revolution and Sting’s send-off but with Flair’s reputation as the dirtiest player in the game, one more showdown might not be out of the realms of possibility.
