WWE Hall Of Famer Claims Son Is A “Natural Wrestler”
The son of a WWE Hall of Famer is already showing wrestling promise.
Nikki Bella made her in-ring return as part of the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble to a huge reaction from the crowd. The appearance came after weeks of teases in interviews, and reports she’d been training hard in secret.
During one interview, Nikki admitted it wouldn’t take much for her sister Brie to also get back in the ring. Brie hasn’t wrestled full-time since 2016, although she did return for eight matches in 2018 before competing in the 2022 Royal Rumble.
Nikki and Brie left WWE in 2023, announcing they’d be known as The Garcia Twins moving forward.

Brie Garcia was most recently seen on wrestling television at AEW All In, where she was supporting her husband, Bryan Danielson, along with their children at ringside. And according to the WWE Hall of Famer, her young son already has the wrestling bug.
During an appearance on Redefined with Leslie & Arielle, the star discussed her life and career and what might come next. While giving fans an insight into her life as a retired mother and wrestler, Garcia said that while her daughter isn’t into sports, her son Buddy could follow in his famous parents’ footsteps.
“I would be honored just because she would want to fall into my footsteps. I definitely be like, ‘Whew, okay.’ My son is going to be the one. He’s a natural wrestler. The way he grabs an arm. The way he hooks. The way he’ll even maneuver from one leg to the other. That is natural, the way his body moves.
My daughter is extremely artistic and she hates sports. We tried soccer camp this past summer because she knows I played it growing up. ‘Okay, I’m going to try.’ I drop her off, I come to pick her up, and I see her face. She looks distraught.
I’m thinking, did something happen? Was there a mean girl situation? I grabbed her, ‘Are you okay?’ She’s looking at me with a red face. We get to the car and she’s like, ‘I do not like soccer. They made me run. I got pushed off the ball.’ I thought it’d be smart to put her at goalie. She did not like people kicking balls at her. I tried tennis with her and different sports. She’s like, ‘Mom, I’m just not into sports.’
She’s incredible at art and starting to play the piano. That’s where I see her thrive and happy. I think that’s her calling.”
In December, Bryan Danielson admitted he doesn’t know if he’ll wrestle again after stating it feels like he’s got a “bobblehead.” During his final months in the ring, the star revealed he occasionally lost feeling in his arms as a result of his neck problems.
