WWE Hall Of Famer Makes Shock Indie Appearance

WWE Hall Of Famer Remembers Gruesome Injury From Early Match

A WWE Hall of Famer rocked GCW.

After making his debut in 1992, the man who would become known as “Bradshaw” and later “JBL” went on something of an international tour. The would-be World Champion made multiple trips to Japan, popped up in Europe, and even turned out for CMLL in Mexico.

However, when he signed with WWE in 1995, JBL became the ultimate one-company man, working for the sports entertainment giant in a variety of roles on and off right up to the present day. But in recent weeks, the veteran has been on an apparent mission to get back in touch with his roots.

After making a surprise appearance at night three of AAA Triplemania 32 alongside Nic Nemeth, JBL has now rocked up in GCW.

At GCW Homecoming Mance Warner retained the World Title in a Four-Way Ladder Match against Joey Janela, Matt Cardona, and Blake Christian. During the match, Effy came out to try and prevent Warner from winning, but he was thwarted by JBL and two Clotheslines From Hell.

JBL Full Of Praise For WWE Legend

Although he signed with WWE in 1995, it would be a further nine years before JBL won his one and only World Championship. At The Great American Bash, the former college football star defeated Eddie Guerrero in a Texas Bullrope Match to the disgust of the crowd.

In a recent interview, JBL looked back at his rivalry with Guerrero and credited the Hall of Famer with making that part of his career a success. The veteran explained that “Without Eddie, JBL would be a footnote in history.”
