Another WWE Hall Of Famer Set To Make GCW Appearance

WWE Hall Of Famer Explains Why He Vanished

A WWE Hall of Famer will make a special appearance with GCW.

On September 12th it was announced that Kurt Angle is heading to GCW American Dream. The spot will be Angle’s first wrestling appearance since featuring on a special 30th-anniversary episode of Monday Night Raw in January 2023.

The WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. Although he has occasionally teased a comeback, Angle has undergone several surgeries in recent years most notably on his neck and his knees.

Despite being announced for the GCW event, Angle won’t be wrestling.

GCW has now announced on social media that Mick Foley will join Angle at the event.

Foley has appeared for the promotion before, most notably at Fight Club in 2021 when Jon Moxley battled Nick Gage.

Back in April, Mick Foley called off plans for an in-ring comeback due to health issues and concerns about his history of concussions. The legend had hoped to return to the ring in a Death Match to celebrate his 60th birthday.

Foley later revealed there had been plans for him to have a final short run opposite MJF in AEW, and there had been a secret meeting between the pair to work out the details.
