WWE Hall Of Famer Returns To AEW Television

WWE Hall of Fame logo over roster

Pittsburgh, PA was the site of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night and there was a surprise in store as Wardlow brought WWE Hall of Fame worthy back up for his TNT Title match.

For the first time since losing his TNT Championship to Powerhouse Hobbs back in March, Wardlow was back in action on Dynamite as he challenged Hobbs in a rematch for the gold.

The first title match saw Hobbs pick up a knockout win thanks to shocking help from QT Marshall who has now hitched his wagon to the former Team Taz man. On Dynamite, Marshall and Harley Cameron accompanied Hobbs to the ring but Wardlow had someone to even the score – WWE Hall of Famer, Arn Anderson.

Anderson has not been featured regularly on AEW television in quite some time after previously acting as the Head Coach of Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Family in the company. Anderson has been seen primarily on the company’s YouTube shows accompanying his son, Brock Anderson, to the ring for his bouts.

Arn Anderson suffered a horrendous tragedy back in March when his eldest son Barrett tragically passed away.

Anderson’s presence was enough to help Wardlow defeat Powerhouse Hobbs and become a three-time TNT Champion, although his next challenger looks to have revealed themselves.
