WWE Hall Of Famer Predicts Big Things For Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross

A WWE Hall of Famer has thrown their support behind Karrion Kross.

In the days after WrestleMania 41, Karrion Kross vented his frustration at life in WWE after missing out on a match at the event. The former NXT Champion only made a cameo during the match between AJ Styles and Logan Paul on night two — and he was far from happy about it.

In an expletive-laden rant mid-interview, Kross suggested his love of wrestling apparently “didn’t mean sh*t.” He then turned his attention to AJ Styles, whom he addressed as “Alan,” criticising him for “p*ssing away” what might be his last WrestleMania match.

Kross recalled being told to be a good soldier by Goldberg, but said that advice only got him released and overlooked. The star closed by telling the “guy with the suit and tie” to go f*ck themselves.

It was reported after the promo was released that Karrion Kross earned a lot of praise from fellow WWE stars as he weaved in and out of storyline. Kross has enjoyed a surge in popularity among fans in recent weeks, and now another famous name has added their name to his growing fan club.

Diamond Dallas Page Wants The World For Karrion Kross

In a new interview with CasinoBeats, DDP was asked who from WWE’s current roster would have thrived during the peak of his own run during the 1990s. Page quickly shouted out Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns, before turning his attention to the underused Karrion Kross.

Oh God. A lot of ’em. A lot of them. I look right away to Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns. Of course Cody would’ve done incredible. I’m very proud of Jey Uso. That kid got himself over big time, so proud of him.

The guy I put my money on right now, the guy that’s not in that mix – he made a bit of a statement at WrestleMania, I think you’re gonna see big things from Karrion Kross, because this cat, he’s a shooter man. He is a brown belt Jiu Jitsu. He can go for that arm bar where he breaks arms and breaks two baseball bats.

I mean, this cat is the real deal. He’s every bit of 6 ‘4, 6 ‘5 in 280lbs, and has a gorgeous wife who’s so entertaining. You really don’t often see where someone’s as entertaining in front of the camera as he is in the back.

When asked what WWE had to do in order to get Kross to the next level, DDP said it was simple. Just give him the opportunity to show what he can do.

“Opportunity. The damn opportunity and just let him be himself because the cat’s real, you know, and he can work his ass off. It’s not like he’s some big guy who doesn’t know how to kick and doesn’t know how to throw a punch or doesn’t know how to work. He just does all of it at its highest level.

That interview that he did that lit shit up and I’m hoping something comes out of that for him. It was like LA Night. Same thing. Both of those guys, they’re 20 years in each. They’ve been doing this a long time and it’s easy to build some strong promos.”

During the same interview, Diamond Dallas Page admitted he didn’t know he’d have so much heat with WWE after signing with the company in 2001. After an unlikely start to life as a wrestler, Page had become an integral part of WCW and one of the most popular stars in the entire company when it closed.

He explained that this played into the hostile reception he was given by some in WWE, a feeling he believes was passed down by Vince McMahon.
