WWE Hall Of Famer Open To Joining The Bloodline

Could the OG Bloodline get a new Wiseman?

Although he hasn’t been involved on television, Rikishi hasn’t been shy about commenting on WWE’s creative for his sons The Usos, and the larger Bloodline storyline.

Given that the entire story has been built on decades of family history, some feel it’s only natural that the former Intercontinental Champion will eventually make an appearance. However, it seems he’s in no rush to get back in the game, instead remaining content to watch everything unfold from the sidelines.

During a special live edition of his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi was asked whether he could become the Wiseman for the OG Bloodline. And while he wasn’t exactly jumping to get back involved with WWE, he didn’t close the door either.

“[Laughs] Would you guys please stop trying to drag me in there? I’m having fun shooting the podcast, I’m having fun living the second part of life, to be able to be home and train at Knox Pro, train the new students of the game. But in this game, you never say never. Every time I go to all the signings, that’s first thing the fans always ask me. ‘When are you gonna come back? We want you to come back.’ I’m just like man, I don’t know. I guess I hear it enough, we’ll see,”

Rikishi hasn’t appeared on WWE television since taking part in The Undertaker’s retirement ceremony back in November 2020.

Paul Heyman Closing On WWE Return?

Despite fans asking about Rikishi, the original Wiseman could be about to make his return to television. Paul Heyman has been out of action since the June 28th edition of SmackDown where he refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief and paid a heavy price for his defiance.

Inside Madison Square Garden no less, Heyman was left battered and broken after being smashed through the announce table.

But as he wages war on the new Bloodline, Roman Reigns attempted to turn to Heyman on November 15th. Unfortunately for Reigns, when he dialed Heyman’s phone number, it had been disconnected.

Despite being written off television, Heyman has been a regular presence backstage working on the Bloodline storyline.
