WWE Hall Of Famer Will Never Reject Return To Company
A WWE Hall of Famer remains open for business.
In recent weeks, Eric Bischoff has appeared in both NXT and MLW and that might not be the last fans have seen of him.
With MLW reportedly open to working with him again, during an episode of 83 Weeks, Bischoff hinted that he’ll be involved in the company’s upcoming event in February 2025.
The veteran then suggested he isn’t sure how long he’ll continue to make appearances citing the travel involved. However, he remains open to working with WWE, including with its ID program.
“Definitely. WWE does it right, and if that opportunity were to be presented to me, I’d have to give it serious consideration.
Honestly, I don’t want to make it sound like I’m too good for anything because that’s not the case at all. For me, it’s just very personal in terms of travel.
I say it all the time and I don’t think people really believe me or understand how committed I am to this, but it’s just so hard for me to travel anymore that that’s my biggest issue is the travel part.
So I guess it depends on where, when, and how often, that type of thing. But I’m never gonna turn down an opportunity to do anything with WWE. They’re a class organization, they treat you right, I almost always have a great time. So always keep an open mind, for sure.”
Eric Bischoff Not Under WWE Contract
Following his latest appearances with NXT, Eric Bischoff denied being under any kind of WWE contract, adding that he doesn’t even have a Legends deal.
The former WCW boss said he doesn’t actually have an agreement with anyone and picks each appearance on its own merit.
Eric Bischoff has admitted his appeal to WWE audiences is in decline which bore out judging by the NXT ratings for his appearance on that show.
