WWE Hall Of Famer Names Their Favourite Wrestler Who Could “Do It All”
In a heartfelt reflection on his wrestling inspirations, WWE Hall of Famer “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase revealed his favourite wrestlers from his early days as a fan.
Speaking on his podcast, “Everybody’s Got a Pod,” DiBiase passionately named fellow WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk and Dick Murdoch as the wrestlers who captured his imagination during his youth. DiBiase’s admiration for Terry Funk was evident as he shared:
Terry Funk. Terry Funk can do it all too. I mean, he could be the baddest b*dass or the greatest baby face. I just thought that was great.
The multifaceted nature of Funk’s wrestling persona clearly left a lasting impression on the young DiBiase, showcasing Funk’s ability to embody a diverse range of characters in the ring. In addition to Funk, DiBiase fondly reminisced about Dick Murdoch, describing him as a wrestler with the potential to become the next NWA World Champion. DiBiase humorously noted the unpredictability of Murdoch’s performances, saying:
Dick Murdoch was a guy that they were basically considering to possibly be the next NWA World Champion. But you never knew which Murdoch was going to show up [laughs]. Whether the sensible Murdoch was going to show up or whether the wild orangutan was going to show up.
