WWE Hall Of Famer On Why There’s More To Come From Jacob Fatu
Big things are expected from Jacob Fatu.
After months of speculation, Jacob Fatu finally made his WWE debut on the June 21st edition of SmackDown. And his arrival was far from just another debut. Fatu destroyed Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and Cody Rhodes immediately aligning with Solo Sikoa and the new Bloodline.
Fatu has wrestled sparingly on television thus far but has established himself as one of the most dominant stars in the company. Since making his debut, the star has competed in just eight televised matches, with his only singles clash coming in a dark match opposite Cody Rhodes.
Given his slow introduction as an in-ring performer, fans are waiting to see Fatu explode, and it seems they aren’t alone.
Jacob Fatu Just Getting Started
During a recent episode of his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi said he thinks Fatu is yet to fully hit his stride. The veteran explained that when the SmackDown finally has a high-profile singles match, the world will see just how talented he is.
“I can’t really pinpoint who is the best worker in this family, but I can say for the new generation, we got a lot of our nephews that are in the business that are coming up, for instance, like Jacob Fatu.
I’ve always said that this kid here has yet to show his talent to the world, and so with Jacob, until I see Jacob have a full one-on-one match and the world sees him have a full one-on-one match without outside interference, I think the world will understand what I’ve been talking about for the longest [time]. But Jacob has yet to reach his star status as far as being a main event player. So the family is full of a lot of good workers, even better people.”
It’s been announced that Jacob Fatu will be back in action at Survivor Series where he’ll team with Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed to tackle Roman Reigns, The Usos, Sami Zayn, and an unnamed partner inside WarGames.
