WWE Hall Of Famer Could Make Everyone “Look Stupid”
WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry has named Kurt Angle as his toughest ever opponent.
The legendary duo were not regular rivals during their WWE tenures, although Angle did defeat the monstrous Mark Henry to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble in 2006.
Having battled his way to capture gold at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia despite having a broken neck, Angle has earnt himself a reputation as a genuinely tough individual who could go toe to toe with any WWE Superstar inside or outside of the ring.
Speaking during a recent Monopoly Events Q&A, former WWE Champion Henry explained just how good Kurt Angle actually was inside the squared circle, noting that he had the ability to make any man look silly:
“Kurt Angle was pretty tough. Like, I had big guys, I had guys that could hit really hard. But Kurt Angle was just so good, you could do everything right and still not be able to do what you wanted to do against him.
You could do everything right, and Kurt Angle could make you look stupid.”
WWE Superstar Claims He Won’t Appear On Television After Retirement
Seth Rollins has claimed that he will not be seen on television in any capacity following his in-ring retirement.
Many top Superstars transition into non-physical on-screen roles at the conclusion of their careers, with the likes of Mick Foley and Kurt Angle amongst a host of former talent that have taken on the mantle of ‘General Manager’ on WWE television.
Rollins, however, insists that he will follow a different path when he hangs up his boots for good. The Davenport, Iowa native has his eyes set up on a behind the scenes career once his glittering in-ring career draws to a close.
