WWE Hall Of Famer Claims Logan Paul Will Become Greatest Babyface In History

A WWE legend had some remarkable praise for Logan Paul.

At Clash In Paris, Logan Paul came up short as he looked to send John Cena into an early retirement.

The match represented another impressive step in the career of Paul, who has made a habit of challenging for World Championships and facing some of the biggest names in the modern era. However, he still wants more.

On a recent episode of his vlog, Logan Paul sent a blunt message to Triple H, expressing his frustration at his relative lack of action. The YouTube star said he wants to keep working and prove he can become the biggest entertainer in the industry.

Logan Paul Tipped To Become A Legend

During a new interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda, Sgt. Slaughter became the latest Hall of Famer to tip their hat to Paul. But it turned out Slaughter did much more than that. While discussing the star’s prospects, the veteran said he could become the greatest babyface in wrestling history.

“I don’t think he has too many weaknesses. He still rushes things a little bit. I would love to be there, but I know he has plenty of pros telling him what to do and how to do it. He’s a natural. He’s at home. It takes a long time to make that ring your second home. When you walk in there and become that character, it’s night and day.

If he continues, I don’t know how long he’ll continue, but John Cena is leaving. The Rock makes appearances, but there is no real superstar right now. Once he establishes himself as the biggest villain, he’ll be the biggest hero of all time. I think he’ll surpass every hero we’ve ever had in this business.

Logan Paul has to be the biggest villain of all time, and when the time is right, someone has to look out because he’s going to turn into the hero and they’re going to blow the roof off,”

Continuing on, Slaughter reiterated that he believes Paul has the potential to surpass Hulk Hogan and Dusty Rhodes.

“He’ll be better than all of us. He’s only had about 30 matches, and he’s already main evented. I wish I could go back and be his manager or something. Just show him a couple of hitches he needs to fix. He has everything else. He can do everything they ask him to do, he just doesn’t have the psychology of what it takes to be that villain.

You don’t need to call people maggots or spit on people. You can do the Ric Flair fake high-five. Those little things are what he’s missing out on.

He’s got the in-ring professionalism. He just needs the psychology of how to make the fans really not like you, not just because you’re telling them you’re a bad guy, but to show them psychology-wise.”

The comments come after Kevin Nash said that Logan Paul could “carry the company” after his match with Cena at Clash In Paris. For his part, Paul said that getting the chance to work with Cena was the “peak of professional wrestling,” and a special opportunity he’ll never forget.
