WWE Hall Of Famer Has The Itch For Wrestling Comeback

WWE Hall of Fame ring

Could another WWE Hall of Famer make an in-ring return?

Surprising returns have been very much en-vogue in recent years with the likes of The Rock, Trish Stratus, Steve Austin, Lita and more all getting back in the ring when their careers seemed over.

Meanwhile, another veteran has hinted they haven’t given up hope of wrestling again, even if they might have to wait a little longer.

Nikki Bella hasn’t wrestled since taking part in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble and hasn’t competed in a singles match since 2018. Despite being all but retired due to injury, in a new interview with TMZ, the star admitted the wrestling itch is still there.

“The itch is there for sure,” Nikki said. “I think that’s the one thing that I realized — right now with Matteo being a toddler, it would just be too hard for me.

Even if you wrestle one day a week, it’s all the travel that people don’t realize that you do.”

Nikki Bella Nearly Returned Outside Of WWE

Speaking on a recent episode of her podcast, Nikki Bella revealed she was tempted to join AEW. The WWE Hall of Famer said she was inspired by Mercedes Mone’s AEW debut and contemplated contacting Tony Khan about joining the company.

This revelation prompted AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm to address the star, bizarrely commenting that she “can’t hold a pussy-scented candle to what I do.”
