A WWE Hall of Famer recently suffered injuries after falling at an airport.

Ted DiBiase admitted to suffering a hard fall while navigating through the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta.

The 71-year-old revealed that the incident left him with a black eye and bruised ribs. He was also thankful that the incident did not lead up to more injuries such as broken bones.

The Million Dollar Man claimed that he was rushing to his gate when one of the few children playing nearby fell in front of him, resulting in him being tripped.

What followed was him landing face-first on the floor, resulting in a bleeding face. A gate attendant assisted him.

While speaking on his Everybody’s Got a Pod podcast, DiBiase spoke about the fall.

There were some kids there, and they were playing around, and they were just kids being kids. One of them, like, fell right in front of me, and I had no choice. I was hustling… I did a face bump. I mean, I went down. I went down hard, buddy. I had a, I don’t know if you can see it, a black eye. The rest of it is, it was, it’s my right side.

The WWE legend reported that he experienced severe pain in his ribs, although no bones were broken.

I have had a broken rib before. And if you have a broken rib, you can’t breathe. And even now, even though there’s nothing broken, I’ve got a really good bruise, but it’s so sore. [H/T: Ringside News]

WWE Legend Ted DiBiase Shares His Qualms About Modern-Day Wrestlers

Ted DiBiase is renowned for his heel work in WWE in the late 80s and early 90s.

His angle with his bodyguard Virgil had great storytelling, which ultimately ended with comeuppance for the Million Dollar Man for the ill-treatment of Virgil.

DiBiase also lambasted modern-day wrestlers for their lack of storytelling skills.

What’s wrong with wrestling today is that none of these young guys know how to go out in the ring and tell a freaking story. They just think they’re in there to bounce around, and that’s enough to impress the people.
