WWE Hall Of Famer Rikishi has voiced his anger after a botched move at TNA Rebellion.

In one of the scarier moments in recent wrestling history, Leon Slater ascended the Ultimate X Division structure and performed a 450 splash to the competitors below.

Despite appearing poised to safely catch Slater, the combination of Moose, Matt Cardona, El Hijo del Vikingo, KC Navarro and Sidney Akeem were all unable to break the fall of the 20 year-old British star who crashed the ringside floor with a worrying thud. Thankfully, the Bradford-born star was ok after the incident.

Speaking during a recent edition of his podcast, ‘Rikishi Fatu Off The Top‘, the legendary 59 year-old aired his disappointment at the individuals involved in the spot whilst highlighting the importance of trust between wrestlers:

“I think that’s bull. Obviously they all talked about that spot before, you got a guy’s body that’s in your hands.

That responsibility, it falls on those cats that were out there, that that’s what’s supposed to be the make believe cushion for this guy. Shame on those guys.

At any given time 30 seconds, somebody can end their career. If you’re going to do a spot with me, damn it, I need to be there for you.”

Former WWE Star Used Dangerous Bout To Highlight Skills

Former WWE Superstar Shelton Benjamin has revealed that he used Money In The Bank ladder matches to showcase his talent.

The 49 year-old competed in four of the opening five annual bouts, making an impression in each despite never claiming victory.

With his singles career never truly taking off to the top level, Benjamin admitted that Money In The Bank gave him the best possible platform to show that he belonged in WWE.
