WWE Hall Of Famer Hails Randy Orton As “One Of The Best Talents Of Our Era”
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has heaped praise on Randy Orton, calling him “one of the best talents of our era overall” and highlighting his remarkable consistency, in-ring prowess, and promo skills.
Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff credited Orton for maintaining a high level of performance for over two decades. While he may not have been the highest-paid star in WWE history, his longevity and continued success speak for themselves.
“I think Randy Orton is one of the best talents of our era overall,” Bischoff said. “He may not have made the most money and probably came damn close. Consistency really matters after 20 years of being on top, but as far as being an overall performer, I love his promos.”
Bischoff also praised Orton’s ability to deliver compelling promos, even when the material he is given isn’t always top-tier.
“Sometimes, he doesn’t have the greatest material to work with, but when he does, there’s nobody more believable,” he added.
Beyond his skills on the microphone, Bischoff emphasised Orton’s physicality and athleticism, describing him as a complete package in the wrestling world.
“His entire body is a freaking entertainment weapon,” Bischoff continued. “He’s built like he came out of some kind of AI central casting application. He is so fluid in the ring that he makes it look so easy, more than anybody else.”
A 14-time world champion, Orton has remained one of WWE’s most consistent performers for over 20 years. With his signature RKO and smooth in-ring style, he has solidified his reputation as one of the most respected and reliable figures in professional wrestling.
