WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff Names Who Is The Nicest Person In Wrestling
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has reflected on some of the nicest people he has encountered throughout his long career in professional wrestling.
During an episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff was asked to name individuals he considers to be among the most pleasant and kind-hearted in the industry. However, rather than offering a strict ranking, he explained that the concept of being “nice” is subjective and varies from person to person. Instead, he focused on those he personally enjoyed being around.
“There are a lot of people,” Bischoff said. “I think for sure Lex [Luger], after the interview we just did with him, and the amount of joy that guy radiates just being in the room.”
Luger, a former WCW and WWE star, has remained a beloved figure in the wrestling world despite facing significant personal and professional challenges over the years. His positivity and resilience have made a lasting impression on many, including Bischoff.
Another name Bischoff highlighted was former WCW star Ernest “The Cat” Miller, a performer whose kindness, he believes, often goes unrecognised.
“A lot of people don’t know him that well, but Ernest Miller is one of the nicest people you’ll ever be around; he’s just a sweet guy,” Bischoff added.
Having spent decades in the wrestling business as an executive, commentator, and on-screen personality, Bischoff has interacted with a vast number of industry figures. The fact that Luger and Miller stand out among so many speaks volumes about their character and the positive impact they have had on those around them.
What Mistake Did Eric Bischoff Make In WWE That Led To Him Suffering An Injury?
Eric Bischoff spoke about a stupid mistake he made whilst working in WWE that left him injured and said that following a match between Rob Van Dam and Triple H on a 2003 episode of Raw, Kane was to come out and deliver a chokeslam to Bischoff off of the entrance stage. Bischoff performed the spot, but whilst doing so, he attempted to place his hand down before landing, which meant most of the impact was absorbed through his hand and subsequently left him with a fractured thumb.
