WWE Hall Of Famer Returns To Destroy Becky Lynch On RAW

Becky Lynch put her gold on the line on WWE Raw, but by the end of the night, she had even bigger problems to deal with.

Becky Lynch previously caused controversy with Nikki Bella when the two women came face-to-face in the ring. Lynch claimed she and her “hot husband”, Seth Rollins, were the most successful couple in wrestling history, something Bella herself could have previously laid claim to through her relationship with John Cena. Bella and Cena are no longer together and haven’t been for years, but the crowd reacted huge when Lynch told Bella that she “Couldn’t see [Cena] anymore.”

On the 18th of August edition of Raw, Lynch had more pressing problems as she defended her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Natalya. Problems with the Lowkey Legend and Lynch began the previous week after Lynch got involved with her when she put her gold on the line against Natalya’s partner in the Dungeon Dolls, Maxxine Dupri.

Lynch managed to overcome Natalya and lock her in the Disarmher to pick up the win and retain her title, but her celebrations were cut short. Lynch continued the assault on Natalya as well as Dupri, locking Dupri in the Disarmher before Nikki Bella made the save. Bella took out Lynch with the Rack Attack 2.0 to stand tall.

WWE Title Vacated On Raw

The biggest news coming out of Raw had been rumoured for a week before the show began. Naomi announced her pregnancy before relinquishing the Women’s World Championship.

Naomi had been pulled from a planned title defence on the previous week’s show, with the star being described as “not medically cleared to compete.” There was no confirmation on how or when WWE will crown a new Women’s World Champion. Stephanie Vaquer was in line to challenge for the gold at Clash In Paris after winning a battle royal at Evolution.
