WWE Hall Of Famer Confirms In-Ring Return

WWE Hall Of Famer Responds To Accusations That They Politicked Their Way To World Title

A WWE Hall of Famer has vowed to never retire.

Back in February 2023 Booker T claimed he was retired after his appearance in the 2023 Royal Rumble — even if those comments did come with a sizeable caveat. The veteran said fans wouldn’t see him at “that level” again, seemingly leaving the door open for appearances at smaller shows, and his own Reality of Wrestling promotion.

Although the 59-year-old now calls the action in NXT alongside Vic Joseph, he’s still planning on mixing up when the opportunity arises.

During a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, Booker said he’s “definitely” going to be back in the ring.

“Well, I’m never gonna retire. I’m definitely gonna get back in the ring at some point in time to do something. But it’s gonna be here, in Reality of Wrestling, or in Saudi [laughs].”

When asked about taking part in another Royal Rumble match, the veteran said he’s not looking to do another one as 2023 was a nice ending.

“You know, I think that spot was a great swan song for me doing it at that time, it was one of those unexpected entries. It was a moment, it’s kind of hard to really create those moments, duplicate those kind of moments, replicate that. So I think Rumble for me, I’m not looking to do any more [of those].”

Booker T Wants Moose In WWE

During a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said he would like to see TNA World Champion Moose appear on WWE television.

The former WCW star said he had been impressed with Moose when he appeared in his Reality of Wrestling promotion. In recent weeks, WWE and TNA have established a working relationship which has seen several TNA wrestlers appear on NXT television and visa-versa.

Meanwhile, Moose has claimed fellow TNA star Joe Hendry is on the verge of becoming the “next John Cena.”
