WWE Hall Of Famer Names Brock Lesnar Match That Must Happen

WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T believes that Gunther is the dream opponent for Brock Lesnar.

The five-time WCW Champion is no stranger to high-profile matches and highlighted the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all-time as the ideal opponent for ‘The Beast Incarnate’.

Speaking on a recent edition of his podcast ‘Hall Of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore’, the former WWE King Of The Ring shared his view that the hotly anticipated potential contest could headline a future WrestleMania:

“Brock vs Gunther, that’s a man’s man matchup right there. Anybody that loves this business and loves wrestling, they should want to see that matchup right there. That one right there is a main event anywhere in the world. It’s got to be close to the main event on night one [of WrestleMania] maybe.”

Booker T noted that he would particularly look forward to the match due to the physicality that would be on display:

“This is a big match, Gunther and Brock. That’s like two heavyweight boxers. You cannot undermine that match thinking that it’s not going to be the biggest thing on the card. It’s going to be the biggest thing people want to see.

It’s not gonna be like any match on the card. There’s not gonna be any playing, no jumping, no diving. Oh my God, I can only imagine how that thing is going to turn out.”

Brock Lesnar And Gunther Both Keen On Future Bout

The mouth-watering potential clash of the titans is not just something that fans and former wrestlers are keen on.

Gunther recently revealed that he feels he needs to step into the ring with Lesnar to validate his place at the top of WWE, whilst Lesnar has also previously stated his desire to battle ‘The Ring General’ before he hangs up his boots.
