WWE Hall Of Famer Shoots Down Blindness Rumour

WWE Hall of Fame logo over roster

A WWE Hall of Famer has hit back at suggestions that he is blind in one eye and that prevents them from getting in the ring for WWE.

With Extreme Rules emanating from the city of Philadelphia on October 8th, there were a lot of ties to the now-defunct Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion that was based out of the city. WWE even used former ECW owner Paul Heyman to narrate the opening video package of the show.

In the main event of Extreme Rules, Seth Rollins decided to pay tribute to one of ECW’s biggest stars ever, the former WWE & ECW World Champion Rob Van Dam. Rollins donned airbrushed gear reminiscent of RVD’s and even borrowed the WWE Hall of Famer’s signature taunt as he told the world that he was “Seth ‘Freaking’ Rollins.”

As Rollins’ tribute made waves on social media, one fan claimed that Rob Van Dam can’t get back in a WWE ring because he is blind in one eye. Rob Van Dam soon fired back at the bizarre claim, simply stating:

“Where do idiots get this sh*t from?”

Rob Van Dam last competed in WWE back in August of 2014 when, ironically, his final opponent in the company was none other than Seth Rollins. The Whole F’N Show was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.
