WWE Hall Of Famer “In Awe” Of Toni Storm And Mariah May

Mariah May cradles Toni Storm at AEW All In

Mariah May and “Timeless” Toni Storm made an impression at AEW All In.

While Brie Garcia was on hand inside Wembley Stadium to witness her husband Bryan Danielson capture the World Championship, her sister Nikki kept track of the action at home.

One of the most anticipated matches on the card saw Mariah May challenge Toni Storm for the Women’s World Title. With the match sure to take the headlines, Garcia decided it was time to show her young son Matteo what she used to do for a living.

Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki explained that not only did the match capture Matteo’s attention, but it also pulled her into watching the entire show.

“Then the girls got on the screen, and I was like, ‘Matteo, come watch what mommy used to do,’ and it was really cute because it was Toni Storm versus Mariah May, and he just was in awe, from their entrances, and he was watching them wrestle.

It was cute because one would do something, and he’d be like, ‘Yay,’ and I found myself cheering on Mariah May, and Matteo wanted Toni Storm, so we were just having this fun little moment. I’m like, this is so fun.

By the way, I got hooked. I literally sat and watched wrestling for four hours on Sunday. I couldn’t believe it. I haven’t sat and watched a pay-per-view in so long,”

Nikki added that she was “in awe” of the match between the pair, describing the action as “incredible.”

“I was just in awe of so many of the wrestlers and the performance at All In. Toni Storm and Mariah May, if there’s a women’s match to watch, if you’re not a wrestling fan but maybe you’re like, ‘I want to watch something,’ their match from AEW All In was so incredible. The storytelling, the moves, I was just in awe of those women. It was just so incredible,”

Mariah May Shares Eulogy For Toni Storm

The grudge match between Storm and May was an incredibly physical contest from the outset, with the challenger bleeding for much of the match. At one point, May even slapped her own mother who was watching on at ringside.

When all was said and done, May got the win and claimed the AEW Women’s Title in the process.

While appearing at the post-show press conference, Mariah May decided to put the final nail in the coffin of the career of her hated rival. The British star stopped any questioning from the media to read Storm’s eulogy, declaring her career dead.
