WWE Hall Of Famer Shockingly Attacked On AEW Dynamite

Ricky Steamboat Ric Flair WWE Hall of Famers

One WWE Hall of Famer has been the victim of a vicious attack when they turned up to AEW Dynamite.

The November 12th edition of AEW Dynamite was always going to be a wild affair with two huge Blood & Guts matches taking place on the show. Toni Storm surrendered in the first-ever women’s Blood & Guts match as her opponents destroyed her tag team partner, Mina Shirakawa.

In the men’s match, the Death Riders lost out as Jon Moxley quit again in a major AEW bout, which makes that three times in recent months. At All In Texas, Moxley was choked out by the Hangman’s noose, at WrestleDream, he was trapped in Darby Allin’s Scorpion Deathlock, and now he tapped out to Kyle O’Reilly’s ankle lock. Quite what the rest of the Death Riders will make of that remains to be seen.

FTR Attack WWE Hall Of Famer

The show also had WWE Hall of Famers Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat and Ric Flair scheduled to appear. But in the end, it was only Steamboat of the pair who made it on TV. And he might have wished he hadn’t.

Ricky Steamboat was introduced on the show by Tony Schiavone, who ran down a list of the WWE Hall of Famer’s achievements. However, they were soon interrupted by FTR and Stokely, who, as always, had something to say.

Steamboat tried to compliment FTR before being cut off by Stokely, who tried to rile up The Dragon by, among other things, reminding him that Randy Savage was dead. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood took their own shots at Steamboat, but Steamboat noted that he’s about to turn 73 and decided to be smart and walk away. However, he did not get far as FTR grabbed him and attempted a Spike Piledriver.

Thankfully, AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido were on hand to make the save. Bandido hit his 21-plex on Cash Wheeler while Steamboat lit Harwood up with his famous chops before Stokely pulled his man to safety.
