WWE Hall Of Famer Is A “Big Fan” Of Nikkita Lyons
A WWE Hall of Famer thinks Nikkita Lyons has a big future.
On the latest episode of his Off the Top podcast, Rikishi gave a rather blunt assessment of Charlotte Flair and her legacy. The veteran suggested that Flair wasn’t up there with the all-time greats, explaining that those who came before her deserved more credit.
However, there is one NXT star that’s caught his eye.
Rikishi Throws Support Behind Nikkita Lyons
After giving his thoughts on Flair and her position among greats such as Jazz, Jacqueline Moore, and Lita, Rikishi spoke up in support of Nikkita Lyons. The veteran commented that he’s a “big fan” of the star, adding that he wants to see more of her.
“I’m a big fan of Nikkita Lyons, that’s in NXT. We’re waiting, where is she? Hopefully, these girls here are able to get a chance to even sit in the same locker room with some of these names that I mentioned from the past, because you can really learn a lot to soak up a lot of that knowledge.
So, at the end of the day, it’d be nice to see a lot of this new female talent flourish, understand the psychology of the game, and learn to be a good storyteller in there. It’s not how many spots you do, or how your spots look. It’s like every movement, every in between, has to mean something, has to have the right emotions, facials behind it, good luck to everybody.”
After beginning her career in 2018, Lyons signed with WWE in late 2021. Although initially prominently featured in NXT, the star’s progress has been slowed by two major knee injuries. In more recent times, Lyons has appeared on WWE Evolve and in TNA.
