WWE Hall of Famer Afa is back in the hospital suffering from broken bones just weeks after he was released from medical care.

The Wild Samoan Afa was recently released from hospital after he suffered two heart attacks. As a result, Afa’s WXW promotion is shutting down as he focuses on his health but it seems he has now suffered an unfortunate setback.

Dave Meltzer noted in his Daily Update that Afa was now back in the hospital after a fall that broke his back in two places.

Who Is WWE Hall Of Famer Afa?

81-year-old Afa Anoa’i is a key figure in the Anoa’i wrestling dynasty and is the father of the late Yokozuna. Afa’s Wild Samoan tag team partner and brother Sika is the father of the late WWE star Rosey and the current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The Wild Samoans held the WWE Tag Team Championship three times between 1980 and 1983 with Afa managing The Headshrinkers team in the nineties and also leading them to championship gold.

Afa and Sika both appeared at the 2020 Hell In A Cell to anoint Roman Reigns as The Tribal Chief after Reigns defeated Jey Uso in an ‘I Quit’ Hell In A Cell Match. As one of the original patriarchs of The Bloodline, Afa is surely delighted that Roman Reigns and The Rock will team up as a united front at WrestleMania 40.
