WWE Hall Of Famer Wants Top Female Star To Be Champion

Five women will compete for the Women’s World Title at Crown Jewel and one WWE Hall of Famer is calling for a title change.

Over the last couple of months, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has had a target on her back. She was challenged to a title match by Raquel Rodriguez, but that ended prematurely when Nia Jax made her WWE return with visions of becoming the champion.

In addition to that, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark have become allies who also desire the Women’s World Title held by “Mami” Rhea Ripley.

At WWE Crown Jewel this Saturday, November 4th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Ripley will have to defend her title against Rodriguez, Jax, Baszler and Stark in a Fatal 5-Way Match.

The first fall wins the match, which means that Ripley won’t have to be pinned or submitted to lose her title. Ripley won the Smackdown Women’s Title that turned into the Women’s World Title nearly seven months ago.

Booker T believes that Nia Jax should have a championship run in WWE

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T thinks that Nia Jax should get a run with the championship at some point due to her uniqueness. That doesn’t mean that Booker wants to see it at Crown Jewel, but he explained on his Hall of Fame podcast why Jax deserves a title.

“I said Nia should have a run with the belt a long time ago, way before she left the company and all that. But I also said if you can get the belt on Nia, who’s gonna beat her? Who’s gonna take it away from her?”

“It’s one of those type of things, like booking yourself in a corner. I do wanna see Nia Jax in that monster role, but it’s kind of hard when I watch Nia because she’s a beautiful girl, and she plays the beautiful girl role, the beautiful monster. I want to see Nia Jax take the gloves off, take the makeup off, and just come out there and beat the hell out of somebody.”

“That Nia Jax right there is the Nia Jax that will sell some tickets. We need a monster like Awesome Kong to come in and turn everything upside down.”

Nia Jax is a former WWE Raw Women’s Champion who won the title from Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 34 in 2018. However, Jax was in a babyface role rather than being a “monster” heel that Booker would want her to be.
