WWE Hall Of Famer Nikki Garcia Settles Divorce

Nikki Garcia and Artem Chigvintsev have agreed to a divorce settlement months after Chigvintsev was arrested in their home.

Back in August, Nikki Garcia’s husband Artem Chigvintsev was arrested after a domestic incident at their home in California. The Dancing With The Stars pro was arrested for domestic battery, but prosecutors later declined to file charges, citing a lack of evidence.

After Garcia filed for a divorce, it was been reported that Garcia had also been granted a restraining order while Chigvintsev also took one out against his estranged wife.

As reported by TMZ, on the morning of the incident on August 29th, Garcia claimed Chigvintsev “went off” on her over how their four-year-old son Matteo’s English muffin should be toasted. She added that she was so overwhelmed by his yelling that she threw one of her son’s shoes at her husband.

TMZ has now followed up noting that Chigvintsev and Garcia have settled their divorce through mediation two weeks before it was set to go to trial. The restraining orders taken out against each other have been dropped and they have agreed to share custody of their son.

Artem Chigvintsev had at one point been seeking to claim spousal support from Nikki Garcia while she had been seeking to block the court’s ability to award it. It remains unknown how this was settled.
