WWE Hall Of Famer Dismisses Major LA Knight Concern

LA Knight

One WWE Hall of Famer has tried to ease worries regarding LA Knight’s status in the company.

LA Knight has evolved from someone on the fringes in WWE to one of the most popular stars on the entire roster. Knight continues to mix it with other top stars in the company and is currently embroiled in a feud with Jey Uso as both men set their sights on the World Heavyweight Championship held by Seth Rollins.

But Knight is no spring chicken. At the age of 42, many fans fear that Knight is too old for WWE to really push him into the true higher echelons of the company. But Mark Henry thinks those worries are unfounded.

LA Knight Has A Fan In Mark Henry

Speaking with TMZ, Mark Henry explained how he changed his mind on LA Knight after he really saw what he can do and thinks his age is nothing to worry about:

LA Knight is an outstanding talent. There was a time when I didn’t believe. I thought that he leaned on what other people did and are doing too much, and not creating his own thing. He has proved that he belongs and deserves the opportunity to be the guy.

There’s things that he does that I would say, ‘Hey man, segue out of that and do more of what you’re really good at,’ which is walk and talk. He’s a good wrestler, at the end of the day. There’s so much that he can do that he doesn’t do, and you need to lean into that.

As far as him being too old, there was a time guys where in wrestling, you didn’t even get your shot until you were 40. You didn’t get a shot. Guys wrestled into their 60s.
