WWE: Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar Rematch Is Official For WrestleMania 33

During tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw, Goldberg answered Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania challenge.

Last week’s Raw saw Paul Heyman challenge Goldberg, on Brock Lesnar’s behalf, to a one-on-one match at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday, April 2. Goldberg appeared on Raw tonight and gladly accepted Lesnar’s challenge.

This will be the third match between Goldberg and Lesnar. Goldberg is currently 2-0 against Lesnar, beating him at WrestleMania 20 in 2004 and at last year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view in one minute and twenty six seconds. Goldberg also eliminated Lesnar from this year’s Royal Rumble Match in quick fashion.

Goldberg and Lesnar’s match at WrestleMania 33 could potentially be for the WWE Universal Title, as Goldberg will be facing Kevin Owens at Fastlane on Sunday, March 5 with Owens’ Universal Title on the line.
