WWE Going After Another International Talent

Triple H WWE bucket of cash

WWE is on the verge of another new signing.

In recent weeks, it’s been reported that WWE is looking to sign European stars Zozaya, Aigle Blanc, and Mike D. Vecchio as rumours of NXT Europe gather pace.

However, that doesn’t mean the sports entertainment giant isn’t also casting its net a little wider.

As reported by Cultaholic, representatives from the company have approached Emirati wrestler Shaheen with the aim of securing a deal. The star is believed to have been invited to a try-out and is currently working on getting a United States visa to make that happen.

WWE Wanted To Sign AEW Star

It was recently reported that popular AEW star Willow Nightingale had signed a new multi-year contract with the company. The news came after it was revealed that her previous deal had just months to run, leaving her on the brink of free agency.

While there was never any real indication that Nightingale wanted to leave, and it’s believed she indicated that to AEW, that didn’t mean there wasn’t interest from elsewhere. According to one report, WWE was prepared to make a bid to sign the former TBS Champion if she’d become a free agent.

WWE has been on a recruitment drive through 2025, adding the likes of Penta, Rey Fenix, Jordynne Grace, Rusev, Ricky Starks, Malakai Black, and, more recently, Jeff Cobb to its roster.
