WWE Gave Up On Fired Star Too Soon
A former WWE star has claimed that the company gave up too soon on them and thinks they had just proved they could be in the company for the long haul.
Mandy Rose was released by WWE in December 2022 after seven years with the company, just 24 hours after dropping the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez following a stunning 413-day reign. That release came after WWE became aware that Rose was selling explicit content on her exclusive fan site.
Since her firing, Mandy Rose has blasted WWE as pathetic for ignoring her achievements in the company and she believes she could have offered more.
Mandy Rose Thinks She Had More To Offer WWE
Speaking to Card Player, Mandy Rose claims WWE gave up on her too soon and thinks her NXT run was finally when she proved she had what it took to be a star in the long run:
That’s a good question. I’d probably say yes. My whole career was definitely unique. I think I always had to try to prove myself in everything I did. When I started, it was always “Oh, did this girl have it?” I just felt like I was always proving myself. And then, finally, I had the NXT run in the last couple of years in my career.
That was the moment I really proved to everyone I had what it took and was in for the long run. I would say that it was definitely a very interesting trajectory in my career, and I would say I’m super grateful for the last couple of years. I really do think that those kinds of things helped me gain so much loyalty in the fans and equity in my name and things that I can carry on with me the rest of my life.
