WWE Finally Names Aleister Black & Zelina Vega’s Tag Team
Aleister Black and Zelina Vega are some of the real-life active couples in WWE.
After competing as a singles wrestler for the longest time, the duo was brought together for the first time on the October 10 episode of SmackDown.
During the WWE show in Perth, Australia, Black and Damian Priest, who were involved in a heated feud, had been featured in the main event in a Last Man Standing match.
As expected, the superstars fought all over the arena. The closing minutes witnessed Priest dominate his opponent while fighting among the live crowd.
Just when he was going for the kill, Zelina appeared, pleading with Priest to spare her husband. What many fans missed was her slipping Black an object that he would soon use to regain the advantage.
When Priest was distracted, Aleister sent a fireball in his face, before laying him out with his Black Mass finisher. Priest crashed through a table below and failed to get up to the referee’s 10-count.
With Zelina and Aleister Black often getting a 2-1 advantage over Damian Priest, the latter decided to even out the odds by introducing Rhea Ripley, announcing the reunion of the Terror Twins.
Aleister Black And Zelina Get A New Name In WWE
In earlier dark promos on WWE SmackDown previously, Aleister Black and Zelina often referred to themselves as the ‘Necessary Evil.’
The name was made official on the December 12 episode of SmackDown, when commentator Michael Cole read the match card for the main event.

In doing so, he referred to the real-life couple as ‘Necessary Evil.’
While the duo entered the match with high hopes, they were dominated by the Terror Twins, with Rhea Ripley getting the pinfall on Zelina for the victory.
This match does not necessarily end the feud between Aleister Black and Damian Priest, as the coming weeks will shed more light.
