WWE’s global expansion is set to continue.
Throughout 2025, WWE has continued to with its plans for world domination, holding shows in more international locations than ever before. This has seen the sports entertainment giant head to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions, and more recently, to France for Clash In Paris.
There have also been multiple European tours, and WWE will return to Australia for Crown Jewel before the year is out.
In just the last two years, Premium Live Events have been held in Scotland, Puerto Rico, Australia, France, Germany, and England.
Meanwhile, it’s been announced that the 2026 Royal Rumble will be held in Saudi Arabia in January. This marks the first time that one of WWE’s traditional “big four” events has been held in the kingdom. However, it reportedly won’t be the last.
It’s been reported that WWE is considering holding two WrestleMania events in 2027, with one in the United States and one in Saudi Arabia.
WWE Eyeing Return To Asia
In addition to those claims, it’s now been reported by Fightful Select that there are people within WWE pushing to hold a Premium Live Event in China. The idea is believed to have been discussed over the last several months, with Hong Kong cited as a potential location.
WWE held eight live events in China between 2016 and 2019, but hasn’t returned to the country since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The news comes after WWE announced its Road To Royal Rumble Tour for early 2026. The run of shows will see WWE make stops in 11 European cities before heading to Saudi Arabia.
