WWE Figure Blasts Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle has come in for heavy criticism.

During a recent interview, Matt Riddle launched a bizarre attack on CM Punk, claiming he’s been told by friends in WWE that he’s a “b*tch to work with.” He added that if Punk didn’t bring in the money and interest he does, he’d be fired.

He followed that up by calling CM Punk a “creep” and claiming his wife, AJ Lee, “got around” during her first run with WWE. Riddle didn’t sign with the sports entertainment giant until three years after Lee had retired.

CM Punk returned to WWE two months after Riddle’s exit, making his famous comeback at Survivor Series 2023.

Matt Riddle “Carried Himself Like A Jackass”

Speaking on his Cheap Heat podcast, Peter Rosenberg took issue with Riddle for his recent comments and past conduct. The WWE personality said Riddle was someone who was given plenty of opportunities but acted “like a jackass.”

“And then Matt Riddle, another, MMA person who showed up to WWE got immense opportunity, acted like a jackass… And by the way, I never had a problem with Riddle…We had Riddle on the show, had a good conversation with him back in the day, but still carried himself like a jackass, made a bunch of mistakes, made a bunch of enemies.”

He went on to call out Riddle for his comments about AJ Lee.

“Now he’s still carrying himself like a jackass, saying things that are completely inappropriate… You know, saying disrespectful things about AJ Lee,”

Rosenberg went on to urge Riddle to just “shut up,” while admitting he was never a fan of his in-ring work.

Meanwhile, Matt Riddle has come under fire for allegedly no-showing a charity event in the UK. The event was designed to raise funds and support survivors of domestic abuse and homeless veterans.
