WWE Faction Given Curious New Name

Triple H WWE

A newly formed faction in WWE now has a name solidifying their alliance on Monday Night Raw.

On Raw in Ottawa, following Money In The Bank, IYO SKY and Lyra Valkyria came face-to-face again in a big six-woman tag team match that pitted SKY, Dakota Kai, and Kairi Sane against Valkyria, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter.

The Damage CTRL trio won the match but that victory would be overshadowed by what was to come. Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville rushed the ring, attacking anything that moved to stand tall.

Since then Baszler, Stark, and Deville have proved to be an ominous trio. They took out Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL in a backstage attack and now on Raw in Austin, Texas, the faction now has a name.

Pure Fusion Collective Comes To WWE

Deville, Stark, and Baszler are now known as the Pure Fusion Collective in WWE. The group’s first match with that moniker saw Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler team up to face Kairi Sane and IYO SKY in a number one contender’s match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. That match ended in uncertainty, however, as current champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn interfered attacking both teams.

The Pure Fusion Collective name comes after names like No Quarter Catch Crew, New Catch Republic, and American Made have been given to newly formed factions.

After the split in The Judgment Day, one report suggested WWE had a wild idea for a new name for that group featuring Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Carlito.
