WWE Faces More Bad News On Netflix
What started as a blip might be becoming a pattern for WWE Raw on Netflix.
2025 started with a bang for WWE as the company began a multi-billion-dollar deal with streaming giant Netflix, as it became the new home for Raw in the United States.
The first episode of Raw on Netflix saw Roman Reigns emerge as the one true Tribal Chief as he defeated Solo Sikoa, Rhea Ripley dethroned Liv Morgan to become Women’s World Champion, and in one of the biggest grudge matches in company history, CM Punk beat Seth Rollins.
That show is also memorable for being the last WWE appearance of the late Hulk Hogan. Hogan appeared on the show, flanked by Jimmy Hart, but was booed unmercifully by the Los Angeles crowd.
The November 24th edition of Raw marked a new low for Raw on Netflix, as that show did not crack the top ten most viewed English-language shows on Netflix globally, marking the first time this has happened.
There was a major mitigating circumstance surrounding that, however, as the new season of Stranger Things dropped and propelled all seasons of the hit show into the top ten.
But one week later, the bad news continued for WWE.
WWE Raw Fails To Crack Top 10 Once Again
The December 1st edition of Raw failed to crack the top ten rankings globally, with the tenth spot being taken by a Matt Rife holiday special that did 4.6 million views – a lot more than Raw typically attracts.
This means that the last time Raw ranked in the global top 10 was for the November 17th episode, which brought in 3.1 million views, the best the show had done in seven months. Perhaps it’s no surprise that the show featured the final Raw appearance of John Cena, which might have explained the higher-than-average viewership.
