WWE Expected To Do More White Rabbit-Like Teases
The “White Rabbit” hole goes even deeper.
With the success of each the “White Rabbit” mystery and the comeback of Bray Wyatt at WWE Extreme Rules, Paul “Triple H” Levesque is currently preparing more storylines around the mystery for World Wrestling Entertainment TV.
According to Dave Meltzer in his latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reported that the company considered more teases centered around “White Rabbit” and other angles before Wyatt made his comeback.
“Paul Levesque had told people even before Wyatt debuted that the type of teases that were being done would be used more often as a facet of storylines and mystery. With the success of the Wyatt angle, expect there to be more of it.”
Before Bray Wyatt made his return to WWE at their Extreme Rules Premium Live Event on October 8, 2022, the company sent out several QR codes on television that were full of teases and puzzles, while also playing Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit” at house shows.
The clues would lead the WWE Universe down a literal rabbit hole, with it featuring creepy cartoons and other abnormal images.
Reportedly, WWE is thrilled with how the “White Rabbit” campaign did, and it generated a ton of excitement among fans. On top of that, it would also Bray Wyatt to the top of merchandise sales.
